Configuration overview
Once your workspace is live (see Go live), day-to-day configuration splits across two consoles. Which one you use depends on whether a setting applies to the whole workspace or to a single branch.
Workspace-wide settings — management console
The management console is where an Organisation Admin shapes everything shared across branches. Its sidebar covers:
- Locations — the branch network: create, edit, archive (Branches).
- Services — the workspace-wide service catalogue and service groups (Services).
- Users — everyone in the workspace, their roles and invitations (Team).
- Languages — the workspace language catalogue (Languages).
- Access & identity — your identity provider and whether clients sign in (Identity provider).
- Plus matching rules, branding, notifications, location templates, bulk operations, analytics, and the audit log.
Per-branch settings — location manager console
The location manager console works one branch at a time. A Location Manager reaches the branches they are assigned to; an Organisation Admin reaches every branch of the workspace. Its main tabs hold the branch's live queue and priority rules, services and branch languages, team and schedule (operators, service windows, working hours, holidays and closures), clients, statistics, devices (TV screens and Tablets), and settings.
An account holds one management level, never both — but an organisation admin has both consoles: they shape the workspace in the management console and open any branch in the location manager console, moving between the two with the console rows in the account menu at the top right. There is no separate sign-in per console.
